Booking, Fees & Cancellation Policy

*ADDITIONAL FEES/SURCHARGES

  • Additional pets per job will incur additional fees.

  • Reactivity fee applicable for dogs reactive towards other dogs and/or humans. This includes symptoms such as frustration or overexcitement, pulling, lunging, barking and even aggressive behaviours.

  • Walks in poor weather conditions may incur additional fees (for Walk and Visit services).

  • Handling Fee is applicable for dogs who are not trained to walk on loose leash, have reactivity resulting in lunging or pulling behaviour or high maintenance dogs (for Walk and Visit services).

  • Travel/Call Out Fee may be applicable for towns outside of the 5 and 8km ranges as shown here

  • Extra Care Fee applicable if a pet has an injury or other condition where they require extra care or constant attention (for Walk and Visit services).

  • Holiday rates as shown here.

  • Last minute bookings made in less than 48 hours notice (i.e. 2 days) for new clients may result in a 20% Last Minute Booking Fee (for Walk and Visit services).

  • Initial Meet & Greet (for Walk and Visit services) is free. If a follow up Meet & Greet is required for any reason, (i.e. new pets, change of address etc.) follow up consultation fee is $25.

  • Dog Behaviour & Training Consultations range between 1, 1.5 and 2 hours. If session runs overtime there is an additional fee of $50 per half an hour. Alternatively, a Follow Up Training session may be required.​​

BOOKING AND PAYMENT POLICY

  • The booking fees (for Walk and Visit services) are to be paid in full 48 hours prior to the start of service.

  • Last minute bookings made in less than 48 hours notice (i.e. 2 days) for new clients may result in Last Minute Booking Fee (for Walk and Visit services).

  • A non-refundable deposit is required upon booking and reserving a Behaviour & Training consultation.

  • If you need to reschedule your consultation, please contact Dee.

  • Remainder of payment for Behaviour & Training consultation is to be paid at the end of the session.

  • Value Packages must be paid upfront prior to start of first session.

  • Value Packages expire after 6 months from date of full payment.

  • Value Packages are non-refundable.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • 48 hours' notice required for cancellations (for Walk and Visit services) or a 50% cancellation fee is payable.

  • Dog Walking sessions will be cancelled by Dee if the weather is too dangerous (i.e. thunder or lightning storms, damaging winds, temperatures over 25ºC if pavement is too hot for the dog's paws or there is a risk of heat stroke etc.). There will be no cancellation fee for these cases.

  • Value Packages have a 7 Day Cooling Off Period from date of first session. If after the first session you change your mind, you have 7 days to notify Dee directly for a refund, however, the first session will be charged at the full rate.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be transferred for future bookings (unless you're rescheduling).
